Fourteen women assembled 44 baby care kits for Lutheran World Relief.  Thank you to all the people who donated items.

                             2024 School Kits! The goal was 100 school kits... we packed 103 kits! YAHOOOOOO!  Thank you to all!
  • Imagine having to choose between a meal or purchasing a notebook. Project Promise School Kits, through Lutheran World Relief, are sent to places where even the few required  school supplies may be more than a family can afford. Pencils and paper can help write a positive future. 
Each kit includes the following items:
  • Four notebooks (280-300 sheets total) wide or college-ruled 8" x 101/2". No loose-leaf paper.
  • One 30 centimeter ruler, or inches on one side and centimeters
    on the other side.
  • One pencil sharpener
  • One pair of blunt scissors
  • Five unsharpened #2 pencils with erasers 
  • One 2 1/2" eraser
  • Five black or blue ballpoint pens (no gel inks) 
  • One box of 16 or 24 crayons
